Born in 1983 in the Parisian suburb, Carole Thivolle, alias Nephyla, has developed for a long time her taste for fantasy and drawing. As a book lover, she reads a lot of crooked thrillers, roman sagas, and of course, manga and japanese animes.
Co-founder of "Raxxon" fanzine, side by side with Castel, she has worked for more than 12 years on an eponymous universe with the help of talented artists.
Graduated from both ESSAT school of Roubaix and Gobelins school, she chose to work in the comics field instead of animation. She has many strings to her bow being at the same time drawer, colourist, and screenwriter for different pieces in many publishing houses. She was published in the newspaper (Lanfeust, Manga, Wakfu mashg...) and worked for video games developers (Matagot). In 2016, she launched her own label "MdM production". She is the author of Geek&Girly" (Soleil editions), "La Déesse" (Tabou BD), "Le Pion Noir" (MdM production), "N'oublie pas de sourire" (MdM production), "Soleil Noir" (MdM production), "La Reproduction des Mouettes" (MdM Production).
