What is Cosplay?

Thanks to the creation of the global cosplay contest, the Polymanga Global Easter Cosplay (GEC) and the exclusive partnership with the World Cosplay Summit for Switzerland, Polymanga has become one of the world leaders in Cosplay!

What is Cosplay?
Cosplay (Contraction of the English Costume Playing) is a practice consisting in playing the role of your favorite characters (on Manga thematics, video games, comics, series, films or cartoons), in particular by reproducing their costume, accessory or makeup. Cosplay is very common in Japan, but it was born in the United States during conventions and science fiction festivals. Since then, "Cosplay" has been copied worldwide! In Europe, a large number of "Cosplayers" make their own costumes.

POLYMANGA founded as cosplay capital
Over 4 days, no less than 6 cosplay competitions will take place. These will count for the Swiss selections of the World Cosplay Summit (the winner representing Switzerland in Japan), the ECG (the winner representing Switzerland in France), Yamato (the winner representing Switzerland in Brazil), L EuroCosplay (the winner representing Switzerland in London) and the International Cosplay League (the winner will represent Switzerland in Spain). In addition, Polymanga has created its own global cosplay (Polymanga GEC) where the best cosplayers from around the world will march Monday April the 22nd (Easter Monday).

This will all happen with the BulleJapon association and the Swiss Cosplay Family!
BulleJapon is an association made up of a small team of happy goofs that was created with a specific purpose: to discover or rediscover the Japanese culture through various games and animations for an audience of all ages.
