Naofumi is sent in another world similar to a fantasy heroic role game world. When others heroes have fearsome offensive weapons, Naofumi inherits from a shield with limited abilities to progress in the game where danger can loom at anytime. Betrayed by his partner, the young man can only rely on himself to survive in this hostile universe...and maybe on a unoccupied young lady with inconspicuous ressources as well.
