Samkaat is a self-taught artist who has oscillated between illustration, animation, art direction, and unemployment. He spent a decade working in the corporate world of animation and video games and realized the alarming and unnecessary level of stress that modern society imposes on itself. He then left this path to promote relaxation and calm through his art. Currently, he sells his prints at various conventions to fund his instant noodle packets.
