40 Years of Career: Mahiro Maeda, Animation Director at Studio Khara, at @Polymanga on April 4–5 at Beaulieu Lausanne for Conferences and Signings
This pillar of Japanese animation, who was already active during the early days of Studio Gainax and the founding of Studio Gonzo, has left his artistic mark on numerous works: Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 and 3.0+1, Mad Max: Fury Road, Gunbuster, Kaiju No. 8, Shin Godzilla, SSSS.Gridman, Escaflowne, Blue Submarine No.6, The Animatrix, Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, and more recently Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX.

In February 2025, he released his first artbook: Zatsu: Mahiro Maeda Masahiro “That’s Art Book.”
